The professional two-net standard for clean BBS harvesting. Artemia shells cause digestive blockages in fry. This set removes them completely in under 2 minutes.
When you harvest BBS from a hatching container, you collect a mixture of live nauplii, empty shells from hatched eggs, and potentially some unhatched eggs. Feeding this mixture directly to fry introduces chitin shell fragments that fish cannot digest — particularly dangerous for fry and nano fish whose digestive systems are too small and delicate to process tough shell material safely.
The two-net sequential separation technique is the industry standard for BBS preparation: the coarser top net removes larger shell fragments while nauplii pass through, and the fine bottom net then concentrates the clean nauplii for rinsing and feeding. The process takes under 2 minutes and ensures every BBS feeding session is shell-free and safe.
