What is 'My Account'? How do I update my information?

'My Account' is your personal dashboard on MICROWORMS.IN where you can manage all aspects of your shopping experience.

To access and update your information:

  • Click on the 'My Account' icon in the top navigation bar
  • Select 'Personal Information' from the sidebar menu
  • Update your details including name, phone number, date of birth, and gender
  • Click 'Save Changes' to update your information

You can also manage your addresses, orders, wishlist, wallet, and coupons from the My Account section.

How do I change my email or password?

To change your email:

  • Go to My Account > Change Email
  • Enter your new email address
  • Verify with your current password
  • You'll receive a verification email to confirm the change

To change your password:

  • Go to My Account > Change Password
  • Enter your current password
  • Enter and confirm your new password
  • Click 'Change Password' to save

How do I add or edit delivery addresses?

Managing your delivery addresses is easy:

  • Navigate to My Account > Manage Addresses
  • Click 'Add New Address' to add a new delivery location
  • To edit existing addresses, click the 'Edit' button on any address card
  • You can set a default address for faster checkout
  • Delete addresses you no longer use by clicking 'Delete'

Why is Cash On Delivery (COD) unavailable in microworms.in?

Cash On Delivery (COD) is not available on MICROWORMS.IN due to the following reasons:

  • Delivery Success Rate: Live products cannot be returned if delivery is refused, leading to product loss
  • Better Pricing: By eliminating COD, we can offer lower prices and better deals to our customers
  • Faster Processing: Online payments allow us to process and ship your order immediately

Amount debited but order is not confirmed? What should I do?

If your payment was deducted but you didn't receive an order confirmation, don't worry! Here's what happens:

Immediate Steps:

  • Check your email (including spam folder) for order confirmation
  • Check My Account > My Orders to see if the order appears
  • Wait 30-60 minutes as sometimes confirmations are delayed

What Actually Happens:

  • Your money is typically on hold, not actually deducted
  • If the order fails, the amount is automatically refunded within 5-7 business days
  • The refund goes back to your original payment method

If No Refund After 7 Days:

  • Contact us with your transaction ID/reference number
  • Include your registered email and phone number
  • We'll track and resolve the issue within 24-48 hours

Payment failed but money was deducted. What now?

Payment failures with money deduction are usually temporary issues:

Common Reasons for Payment Failure:

You'll receive notifications at every step: Order Confirmed → Packed → Shipped → Out for Delivery → Delivered

What is the expected delivery time?

Delivery times vary based on your location:

  • Major Cities: 2-4 business days
  • Metro Areas: 3-5 business days
  • Other Locations: 5-7 business days
  • Remote Areas: 7-10 business days

Please note: Live cultures require special handling and may take 1-2 days extra for proper packaging.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Cancellation:

  • Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped
  • Go to My Account > My Orders > Select Order > Cancel Order
  • Refund will be processed to original payment method within 5-7 business days
  • Orders already shipped cannot be cancelled

Modification:

  • Contact our support team immediately if you need to modify address or items
  • Modifications are only possible before the order is shipped

  • Harvesting: Wipe sides of container to collect worms
  • Subculturing: Start new culture every 3-4 weeks
