We follow a strict preparation and packaging process tailored to each type of live product.
All orders — regardless of size — are shipped in heavy-duty 5-ply corrugated carton boxes. These are significantly stronger than the standard 3-ply boxes used by most sellers. They resist crushing under courier stacking, handle rough transit conditions, and provide an extra layer of insulation — keeping your live products safer throughout the journey.
Please read these terms carefully before placing your order.
Live arrival is guaranteed provided temperatures along the entire shipping route and at the destination do not exceed 45°C. During extreme summer months, we may delay dispatch to protect the animals — we will contact you to reschedule when safe conditions are confirmed.
Microworms.in is not responsible for carrier delays, mis-routing, or any mistakes made by the courier partner during transit.
We ship through Delhivery, a trusted logistics company with a robust pan-India network and end-to-end tracking. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link to monitor your shipment at every step.
While we choose the fastest available service for live shipments, delays caused by the courier are beyond our control and are not covered under the live arrival guarantee.
We reserve the right to delay or hold a shipment if weather conditions — including extreme heat, rain, or flooding — are not suitable for safe transit of live animals. The safety and well-being of the animals always comes first.
If a delay becomes necessary, we will proactively contact you with updated dispatch information. We appreciate your understanding — this policy protects the animals and ensures you receive a healthy order.
Despite our best packaging standards and thorough preparation, certain events are outside our control — including unexpected courier handling failures, extreme weather events en route, or unusual delays. We take every precaution to minimise these risks, but we cannot guarantee outcomes in such exceptional situations.
Microworms.in reserves the right to cancel and fully refund any live product order at our discretion when we determine safe delivery cannot be guaranteed.

Microworms.in will not be held responsible for any legal consequence arising from your failure to check applicable laws, and we will not knowingly violate any such laws.
We make the refund process straightforward. Follow the steps below to submit a valid DOA claim.
A clear, uncut, unedited unboxing video is the only accepted proof for all DOA claims.
DOA claims submitted after 6 hours of the confirmed delivery timestamp will not be eligible for a refund or replacement. Please inspect your order immediately upon receiving it.
Begin your unboxing video before you open or cut the outer carton box. The sealed outer carton must be clearly visible at the start of the video — this is non-negotiable.
The video must be a single, continuous, unedited recording with no cuts, pauses, jump-cuts, or video editing of any kind. Edited or trimmed videos will not be accepted as valid proof.
During the unboxing, clearly display all affected animals so that their condition is visible on camera. The video must show that the animals were dead upon arrival — not after opening.
Email your unboxing video along with your Order ID, name, and contact number to support@microworms.in within 6 hours of delivery. We will review and respond within 24–48 hours.
Snails and certain other slow-moving organisms may appear motionless or "play dead" after the stress of transit. Please wait 10–15 minutes and gently place them in water before concluding they are DOA. Claims for species that later show activity will not be processed.
No exceptions. Photos alone, partial videos, or videos that begin after the box has already been opened will not qualify as valid DOA proof. Please ensure you record the full unboxing from start to finish every time you receive a live order from us.
Our guarantee covers DOA situations only — not transport-related stress or cosmetic issues.
Fin damage and colour fading are common, temporary effects of the stress of being in transit. These are not signs of a poor-quality animal — with proper care, clean water, and good nutrition, most fish recover completely within a few days. We inspect every fish before dispatch to ensure they are healthy and vibrant.
Email us your unboxing video and order details immediately. We review every claim personally and aim to respond within 24–48 hours.
