💡 Cool LED (4000–5500K) essential. Warm LED makes the metallic scale pattern invisible. Same principle as Blue Rim and White Platinum — structural colour needs cool light.
✔ No dietary colour supplement needed. Melanin black + structural iridophore — the simplest colour maintenance in the entire OHM range. Quality pellet only.

Mid-tone substrate: Dark body + dark substrate = lost contrast. Natural sand or light gravel shows the dark Samurai body clearly.
Pale fin damage = early OHM fin rot: White/pale edges on dark fins are immediately visible — early detection advantage for OHM tip monitoring.
IAL amber + cool LED: The warm amber IAL water + cool LED combination provides contrast for both dark body and metallic scale detail.
OHM care: Sponge filter non-negotiable · smooth decor only · 25–28°C heater · 20–30L minimum. Same protocol as Copper OHM, Thai Flag OHM, Mustard Gas OHM. IAL strongly recommended for OHM fin tips.
