A rare wild betta species from coastal Thailand — prized for teal-green metallic colouration, bold character, and natural bubblenest breeding behaviour.
The Green Mahachai Betta (Betta mahachaiensis) originates from the coastal wetlands of Samut Sakhon province, Thailand. Its shimmering teal-green metallic body and bold dark fin margins make it one of the most striking wild bettas available in India. Unlike ornamental varieties, this is a wild-type species still found in nature — keeping them is both rewarding and a contribution to conservation awareness.
Our semi-adult pairs (approx. 3–5 months) are raised by experienced breeders on live food, clean water, and correct temperature — arriving healthy, well-conditioned, and ready for a prepared biotope aquarium.
