RS Electrical Submersible Aquarium Heater

Reliable glass submersible heater for tropical freshwater and marine aquariums. Choose 100W (100–130L), 200W (180–230L) or 300W (250–330L).

🌡 Why Stable Temperature Matters

Tropical fish are ectotherms — their body temperature, immune system function and metabolism are directly determined by water temperature. A 3–5°C temperature drop below optimal range within hours can trigger ich, velvet, fin rot and immune suppression. A consistent heater is not optional equipment for tropical setups — it is the single most important piece of infrastructure in a tropical aquarium.

Position the RS Heater near your filter outlet or powerhead so heated water circulates through the full tank volume rather than creating a warm zone near the heater.

Temperature targets: Betta 26–28°C · Discus 28–30°C · Community tropical 24–27°C · Cichlids 25–28°C · Wild bettas 24–27°C. Always cross-check with a separate digital thermometer — thermostat dials are approximate.
