Betta visibility: Narrow leaf gaps allow clear sightlines; Betta colour display visible against fine green background; not obscured by broad leaves.
Leaf movement: Narrow leaves wave in sponge filter flow — most visibly dynamic background in catalog; constant subtle movement that broad-leaved plants cannot replicate.
Density note: Plant 6–8 stems per cluster for Angustifolia vs 3–5 for Corymbosa. Narrow leaves fill the background less per stem — denser initial planting gives faster coverage.
